DESCRIPTION: Honorary Professor Andrew Campbell will reflect on his seven years leading the Australian Centre for International Agricultural ResearchAs ACIAR CEO Professor Andrew Campbell nears the end of his statutory term as CEO, he will be delivering a presentation tomorrow at the Australian National University Fenner School. In this presentation, Andrew will discuss the challenge of transforming agrifood systems as fundamental to effective global climate change responses. He will reflect on lessons learned from 7 years leading ACIAR and explore what sort of science has most impact, success factors for partnerships in transdisciplinary research, and the types of professionals that are needed for transforming food, land and water systems in a climate crisis.
