Women's participation in the labour force in India has been steadily declining over the past few decades. Professor Sucharita Sen from Jawahar Lal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi will present her research on the status, patterns and drivers of women's workforce participation, and explore the likely implications of the COVID-19 pandemic.
